Entertaining audiences of all ages, and always in demand, The Pioneer Valley Fiddlers (PVF) have been a vibrant force in the Pioneer Valley, the Berkshires and Northern Connecticut. Founded in 1992 by Chris Keenan, the Pioneer Valley Fiddlers is comprised of over fifteen fiddlers aged six to seventy as well as numerous other musicians including, a washtub bass, mandolins, guitars, washboard, piano, accordion and spoons.(Yes, spoons.) From sold out performances at the Summit House in Hadley to benefit the Holyoke Range, to annual engagements at Storrowtown Village’s Yule Fest; the Festival of Trees at Springfield's Tower Square; Westfield's Dickens' Days,and Chester's Maplefest, the Pioneer Valley Fiddlers continue to preserve and perform traditional Northeastern fiddle music.
